I knew for a fact that this motel was no longer the Nampa Chief. I grew up in two cities that basically sandwich Nampa - Caldwell and Meridian, Idaho. My father was raised in a house on 6th St. North. in fact, my grandmother still lives in that house. I don't how long the Nampa Chief has been gone, but I have no recollection of it being anything than a different motel.
